The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and the Community College of Allegheny County agree to implement the Bachelor of Science degree curriculum in mutually agreed upon designated programs for the purpose of assuring students competencies that will enhance their skill level, their employability and their career goals. AiP will accept CCAC graduates in AAS Industrial Design to BS Industrial Design, AS Art to BS Graphic Design; AAS Culinary Arts to BS Culinary Management; AS Graphic Communications to BS Graphic Design, BS Graphics Communications, BS Digital Graphic Communications, BS Digital Graphic Design; and Certificate Digital Graphic Design to AS Graphic Design; and award credit in accordance with the Transfer Agreement Block Credit for each program.

Only “C” grades or higher will be accepted and courses that rely on computer technology cannot be more than five years old. AiP will consider credit for demonstrated learning based on life experience. But in no case, will AiP award more than 75% of the AiP degree from transfer credit and life experience.
