SOE 104 - Printreading for Electrical Systems 1, Experimental Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours
Description This course covers the fundamentals of print reading for use in residential, commercial and industrial electric systems. Students learn to troubleshoot and install systems safely. Understanding symbols on drawings and plans and other basic print reading skills are covered. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Explain common electrical system’s prints.
- Identify common symbols in electrical system prints.
- Differentiate residential, commercial and industrial systems.
- Produce wired systems based on prints.
