Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic trigonometry.
Description
This course focuses on building site layout and preparation. Studies include surveying techniques, adjustment and care of surveying equipment.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Demonstrate measurement of distance, direction and angles.
- Collect and document field data.
- Transfer field data and notes to survey drawings.
- Perform basic surveying calculations.
