HEO 206 - Industry Recertifications Credits: 5 4 Lecture Hours 2 Lab Hours
Description This course offers comprehensive training for professionals seeking recertification in critical operational areas. It includes CPR/First Aid, safe operation of powered industrial trucks, hazardous waste site work and pipeline operations, meeting the stringent industry standards for training and review. Participants engage in exams administered by certified instructors and explore new miner training under the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Show knowledge proficiency necessary to recertify in Powered Industrial Truck Operations and CPR/First Aid.
- Demonstrate the standards for recertification as a Hazardous Waste Operations Site Worker.
- Demonstrate knowledge proficiency to fulfill the criteria for MSHA certification for new miners.
