RES 115 - Fundamentals of Clinical Practice

Description
In this course, students are exposed to an introduction to the clinical practice of respiratory therapy. Students learn the professional requirements of the clinical setting and how to communicate patient needs and care. This course requires a per credit health career fee; check the tuition and fee schedule for the current rate.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:

  1. Describe the attendance policy for clinical practice.
  2. Indicate the proper dress code for clinical practice.
  3. Explain all respiratory therapy procedures a patient is receiving.
  4. Identify the name, address and phone number of each respiratory therapy department assigned to visit.
