MMC 279 - Multimedia Management Credits: 3 3 Skills Lab Hours
Description In this course, students implement skills developed to create a full multimedia sports broadcast event. Students practice management skills and develop multimedia productions applicable in different markets utilizing industry-standard software and practices. Throughout the course, students also gain experience with the different roles involved in multimedia campaigns including project management, social media, content expertise and design. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Articulate team responsibilities regarding multimedia event development.
- Summarize the responsibilities of different positions in a multimedia event.
- Produce a sports media event from conception to the live event.
- Generate schedules for multimedia events.
- Articulate the responsibilities of a project manager for multimedia events.
