BAS 170P - Building Automation Systems Practicum Credits: 4 1 Lecture Hours 150 Practicum Hours
Prerequisites: Completion of 6 credits of BAS courses
Description Building Automation Systems Practicum is a course that allows students to apply their knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) in a practical, real-world setting as an employee. Through 150 hours of hands-on projects and supervised experiences, students develop and refine their skills in BAS design, installation, programming and troubleshooting. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will:
- Apply theoretical knowledge to practical BAS design and installation.
- Demonstrate skills configuring and programming BAS systems.
- Troubleshoot common BAS issues effectively.
- Demonstrate collaboration with peers and industry professionals on real-world projects.
- Present BAS solutions and project outcomes.
