MMC 155 - Front-End Libraries in Web Development Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours
Prerequisites: Working knowledge of 64-bit computer systems and folder structures and, MMC-150 or permission of the Multimedia Coordinator.
Description This course introduces students to industry-standard libraries built on core languages in web development. Students use these libraries to create robust and inclusive web content. Through the development process, students practice content design and layout, along with flexible platform development. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Implement current libraries used for web development.
- Discuss inclusive practices utilized with current industry libraries.
- Determine the best libraries for different development situations.
- Create flexible layouts for evolving device resolutions.
- Troubleshoot errors within web projects.
