Description This course equips students for the plumbing code examination, focusing on applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. The course revisits Plumbing Codes 1 and 2 principles, emphasizing conservation techniques in line with current industry standards. Conservation materials and methods are discussed. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Demonstrate readiness for the plumbing code examination by mastering relevant regulations.
- Interpret residential and commercial plumbing codes.
- Construct drainage systems utilizing the Allegheny County Health Department’s Article XV provisions accurately.
- Apply plumbing codes to real-world projects, ensuring compliance and functionality.
- Identify green technology codes, trends and techniques within plumbing practices.
- Select appropriate green technology options for plumbing practice.
