Description
This course introduces students to residential plumbing and heating fixtures, faucets, drain assemblies and heating appliances in both a classroom and laboratory setting. Students study and practice safe application and installation of basic residential plumbing devices, domestic hot water systems and low pressure hydronic heating system components.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:

Install various plumbing fixtures and valves.
Construct supply water and drain water piping systems.
Interpret plumbing system blueprints.
Compare different types of domestic hot water systems.
Identify the components of a low pressure hydronic heating system.
