Description
In this course, students focus on building site layout and preparation. Students study various surveying techniques and adjustment. Students also learn procedures for the care of surveying equipment.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:

Measure distances, directions and angles in surveying tasks.
Collect field data for construction site surveys.
Transfer field data to survey drawings.
Calculate basic surveying measurements.
Demonstrate the maintenance of surveying equipment for operational accuracy.
