BAR 115C - Barber Clinical Extension/Experimental

Description
This course is to support students who have passed all required barbering courses and exams but do not yet have the 1,250 hours needed to be eligible for the Pennsylvania State Board exam. In most cases, the hour shortage is related to attendance, so this course allows them to complete the remaining supervised clinical hours they need.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:

1. Display professional appearance and behavior.
2. Employ effective time management skills.
3. Develop communication skills that are professional in both oral and written fashion.
4. Exercise dependability by successfully completing all clinic related assignments.
5. Demonstrate safety in all aspects of the clinical experience.
6. Perform various barbering techniques on clients.
