MAT 080 - Arithmetic Fundamentals

Credits: 4
4 Lecture Hours
Prerequisites: Mathematics placement test
A course in the fundamentals of arithmetic computation. Included are such topics as operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; percents; ratio and proportion; introduction to algebra; and geometric measures and formulas. Students must earn a “C” grade or better to register for the next course in this discipline or to use this course as a prerequisite for a course in another discipline.
