MDR 100 - Intro Health Data Content & Structure Credits: 4 3 Lecture Hours 3 Lab Hours Prerequisites: Admission to the Health Information Technology Program This course presents an introduction to the health information management profession and the health record. Some of the topics included are health data structure, content and standards; health information department functions; healthcare delivery systems; and data storage, retrieval and retention.
