MEC 102 - Mechatronics Industrial Processes Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours 1 Lab Hours Prerequisites: MEC 100 This course emphasizes industrial processes and maintenance. Students will learn how engineering materials are gathered and processed for use. The course covers principles of production planning, inventory management and the operating and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. Students who successfully pass the course will sit for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council’s (MSSC) Processes and Production and Maintenance Awareness exams towards achievement of the Certified Production Technician (CPT) credential. Fees for test materials and certification are added to the cost of this course.
