MFT 145 - Introduction to Mill Operations Credits: 3 1 Lecture Hours 3 Lab Hours Prerequisites: MFT 141 This course introduces the basic skills in the use of the milling machine, its parts and applications. Classroom and lab activities will include set up and operation of the vertical milling machine, accessories and attachments, speeds and feeds, cutting techniques, drilling and reaming. Students will mill parts to specifications using appropriate safety procedures.
