MIT 104 - Introduction to Microcontrollers Credits: 3 2 Lecture Hours 2 Lab Hours Prerequisites: EET 103 This course introduces students to embedded systems, their interfaces and how they apply to business practices. Students will troubleshoot for problems caused by microcontrollers and circuits in a hands-on lab environment. The course covers the architecture of the microcontroller, serial communications, simple process control and Input/Output (I/O) ports to a circuit. The I/O may include Analog-to-Digital (A/D) converters, sensors, Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) and motors.
