PTA 103 - Physical Therapy Prin & Proc 2 Credits: 4 3 Lecture Hours 2 Lab Hours Prerequisites: PTA 101 BIO 160 BIO 161 Co-requisites: PTA-112 and PTA 102
This course provides the physical therapist assistant student with an understanding of diagnoses and the physical therapy treatment methods used with people experiencing orthopedic and other problems that directly affect range of motion, strength, coordination, and endurance. Emphasis will be place on treatment concepts of orthopedic rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise.
