EDU 139 - Phys Res/Non-Violent Forms Intervention Credits: 1 1 Lecture Hours This course offers classroom teachers and aides an overview of the hierarchy of interventions that may be used with students exhibiting disruptive behavior. Various models of physical restraint, as well as when and how these are appropriately employed, will also be addressed. Local laws and school policies pertaining to the use of physical restraint will be discussed.
