NSG 104 - Drug Calculations Credits: 1 1 Lecture Hours
Description This course provides the nursing student with the information necessary to correctly interpret medication orders and medication labels and to correctly solve drug calculations using the dimensional analysis method. This course requires a per credit health career fee; check the tuition and fee schedule for the current rate. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Demonstrate the ability to correctly interpret medication orders and read medication labels.
- Demonstrate the ability to correctly solve drug calculations problems using the dimensional analysis method.
- Successfully pass the final examination.
