Description
This course is a survey of the earth’s surface, its geophysical features and its economic importance. Climate, soil, natural resources and transportation are studied as they affect economic, political and cultural development.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Explain the interaction between humans and their physical environment.
- Distinguish between developed and developing geographic regions.
- Identify the impact and role of climate, soil and natural resources.
