This program prepares the student for transfer to a four-year institution by providing them with a broad college background and skill and knowledge in engineering science. Graduates may earn a Bachelor's degree in any field of engineering by transferring.
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will:
Analyze quantitative data using mathematical/scientific concepts in engineering applications.
Consider the influence of content and assumptions and recognize the implications and consequences of each.
Solve engineering equations through the use of content-specific tools, software and simulations.
Apply the principles of critical thinking and problem solving in the development of technical documents and engineering reports.
Evaluate information sources and content in engineering problem solving using a critical method.
Describe the interrelationships of culture and society in their global environment.
