Associate of Science
This program prepares the student for transfer to a four-year institution with a broad college background and skill and knowledge in theatre or for employment in the field of performance.
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will:
- Define various theatrical forms and trends from cultural and historical perspectives.
- Analyze a script in order to create a character on stage.
- Apply appropriate vocal and physical techniques to acting performances.
- Evaluate psychological dimensions of character and synthesize them with performances.
- Analyze a professional theater production for form and content.
