This program is a concentration of traditional and digital courses to develop student’s skills in the profession of graphic communication design. The certificate program is ideal for students or working professionals seeking professional development or improving on industry standard graphic software, typography, design thinking or technical skills. Courses in this program may transfer to a four-year institution.

Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will :

1. Utilize creative process research, strategy and concept development skills.
2. Use current industry-standard software and technology as it applies to print and digital communication formats.
3. Analyze and develop visual and verbal messaging to communicate to a specific target audience.
