Students transferring to a college involved with PA-TRAC (Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation Center) and pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science can transfer seamlessly by taking the appropriate electives. Students must see an advisor or counselor regarding electives in the following areas:

Humanities Elective: Two courses from the approved PA-TRAC list of humanities electives recommended. See Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation .

Restricted Elective: Take one course of computers, math, science, social science or humanities electives.

Social Sciences Elective: Two courses from the approved PA-TRAC list of social science electives recommended. See Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation .

Mathematics Electives: Students transferring to a TAOC institution must take Discrete Mathematics (MAT-135), Probability and Statistics (MAT-165) and Calculus 1 (MAT-201).

Science Electives: Take two lab-based science course sequence such as General Chemistry (CHM-151 and 152), General Biology (BIO-151 and 152), Anatomy and Physiology (BIO-161 and 162), or non-calculus Physics (PHY-141 and 142).
