Allegheny, Boyce, North, South, Online
Associate of Science

This program provides students currently holding a degree or working in an Information Technology field with employment opportunities in application software development. 2. Implement software to collect, process and present data and information used by business and consumers.
  3. Utilize object-oriented programming constructs for various data types, arrays, methods and graphical user interfaces.
  4. Implement database management systems to organize, store and retrieve data and information for use by application software.

Transfer Opportunities

Articulation agreements are available for students to complete the Associate Degree and transfer to Clarion University of Pennsylvania  and Pennsylvania College of Technology . It is important that students consult with a counselor early in their program to develop a course plan most appropriate for the school to which they intend to transfer. See www.ccac.edu/articulation for details.
