RES 116 - Pulmonary Diagnostic Procedures Credits: 2 2 Lecture Hours
Co-requisites: RES 115 , RES 117
Description In this course, students learn to relate the diagnostic procedures used to treat the pathological condition of patients. Students learn to perform pulmonary function tests and interpret data collected from the procedures. This course requires a per credit health career fee; check the tuition and fee schedule for the current rate. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Identify the indications for performing pulmonary function testing.
- Demonstrate how to perform a pulmonary function test.
- Interpret the data of the pulmonary function test.
- Assess bedside spontaneous ventilation.
