Description This course provides instruction in listening and speaking English for non-native speakers. It emphasizes oral communication and pronunciation while allowing students to maintain their accents. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Produce clear consonant and vowel sounds when speaking English.
- Identify word stress patterns based on contextual variables.
- Demonstrate appropriate body language during English conversations.
- Monitor personal speaking volume appropriate to different situations.
- Adjust speech rate to enhance listener comprehension.
