ANT 103 - Intro Physical Anthropology Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours This course is a study of human biological variability across space and time. The course utilizes the analytical tools of evolution and ecological analysis to track the evolution of human nature across prehistory. Emphasis is placed on the interdependency of the logics of basic Mendelian genetics and of the Darwinian theory of natural selection. This framework is used to organize and interpret holistically evidence of human evolution drawn from human paleontology, prehistoric archeology, and primatology.
