PAM 102 - Airway Management and Pharmacology Credits: 5 4 Lecture Hours 2 Lab Hours Prerequisites: Acceptance into PAM program BIO 110 or BIO 151 Co-requisites: BIO 161 , PAM 101 and PAM 112C
This course provides instruction and lab application of techniques and equipment for airway management and pharmacologic interventions used by the paramedic. Students will learn to select and use various airway management equipment as required by the patient’s condition and general pharmacology principles and specific medications indicated by paramedic treatment protocols.
