HPE 176 - Recreation and Group Activities Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours
Description This course studies, through lectures and practical experience, methods of work with groups of various sizes in goal-oriented and/or leisure time activities. Various aspects of recreation are also discussed. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Identify and employ methods of collaboration in order to achieve a common goal.
- Identify examples of various types of recreational programs.
- Identify and employ methods of directing or participating in group activities.
- Apply proper management skills.
