Prerequisites: STI 116 Description This course is a continuation of Reinforcing 1-1. It presents more in-depth study of reinforced concrete and detailed blueprints. Learning Outcomes Utilize basic math skills to solve reinforcing problems.
Outline the principles and theory of reinforcing steel.
Demonstrate the proper safety procedures for the unloading, handling and storing of reinforcing steel.
Construct a reinforced structure according to a given drawing or sketch.
Demonstrate mastery of the five basic ties used in tying rebar.
