Description This course is designed to provide training to safely erect and use various scaffolding on the job site. Also included in this course is Shields Safety Training which is a requirement for working in the US Steel Plants. Learning Outcomes Identify the different types of scaffold used in the construction industry.
Demonstrate the proper techniques required to properly erect and dismantle scaffolds used in the construction industry.
Identify the limitations and the proper uses of scaffolding.
Identify the safety procedures to follow when using scaffolding.
Complete and certify the Shields Training Program provided by US Steel.
