EGR 100 - Engineering Seminar Credits: 1 1 Lecture Hours
Description This course prepares students for careers in engineering and technology. The course assists students in becoming acquainted with methods for solving practical engineering problems. Film and guest lecturers are utilized to describe the character of the work of graduate engineers in each of several engineering professions. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- List options and paths for engineering careers.
- Recognize the skills required for careers in engineering.
- Use engineering methods for problem solving.
- Calculate basic functions and operations to construct engineering graphs.
- Apply team work concepts in projects.
