BUS 112 - Entrepreneurship Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours
Description This course provides the entrepreneur with a guide through the process of business start-up or enhancement. Following the completion of the course, the student will be able to bring a business to successful launch or will have discovered ways to improve an existing business. The student will learn the fundamentals of networking with other businesses and learn how to use these resources to enhance business opportunities. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Create the entrepreneurial assessment report.
- Prepare a plan to address major points of the assessment.
- Analyze the challenges inherent in the proposed or existing business.
- Employ a problem solving approach to remedy obstacles to successful business operation.
- Utilize resources appropriate to the development of a successful business.
- Develop an ongoing evaluation process to enhance business operations.
- Identify funding sources that may be available to support a business owner.
