ITP 200 - Linguistics of ASL and English Credits: 3 2 Lecture Hours 1 Lab Hours Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in ASL 210 , a grade of “C” or better in ASL 109 or the permission of the instructor PREREQUISITES: A grade of “C” or better in ASL 210 , a grade of “C” or better in ASL 109 or the permission of the instructor wwwww This course, taught in American Sign Language (ASL), trains students to perform linguistic analyses of ASL and what the parallel structures are in English. Emphasis is placed upon examining phonology, morphology, syntax and contact between English and ASL.
