DIT 106 - Fundamentals of Nutrition Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours This is an introductory course which focuses on the major nutrients, including carbohydrates, fats, protein, vitamins, minerals, and water. Throughout the course, practical application of information is emphasized. Special topics addressed include: weight control, eating dis- orders, and sports nutrition. This course is open to non-dietetics majors. This course requires a per credit health career fee; check the tuition and fee schedule for the current rate.
