DIT 208 - Community Nutrition Credits: 4 4 Lecture Hours Prerequisites: DIT 114 This course applies the principles of nutrition presented in Introduction to Nutrition and Medical Nutrition Therapy to the community setting. The nutritional requirements of individuals in various segments of the life cycle are presented. Community programs that help meet the nutritional requirements of individuals throughout the life cycle are highlighted. Patient education techniques are presented.
