ECD 103 - Infant & Toddler Development Credits: 3 3 Lecture Hours This course is an overview of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development from conception through toddlerhood. A range of theoretical viewpoints, research findings, and practical issues will be considered in attempting to understand this period of development. The dynamic nature of development and the uniqueness of each individual and families with infants and toddlers will be emphasized. Professionalism in working with diverse infants, toddlers, and their families will be examined.
