This course for non-native English speakers parallels the second-level developmental course in English (ENG100 Basic Principles of Composition). Course materials help students make the transition from strings of sentences to paragraph and multiparagraph compositions. Organization, outlining, rhetoric, transitions, punctuation, and individualized instruction in advanced writing are emphasized.
