Associate of Science
This program prepares students for employment as an electronics technician upon graduation. The program is also designed to transfer to a four year institution, leading to a BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering Technology. The program emphasizes theory and its applications in electronics and basic concepts and skills for entry-level positions. Applications include computers, communication equipment, monitoring devices, product evaluation and testing.
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will:
- Employ electronic vocabulary to communicate with the manufacturing community.
- Apply industry standard software in analyzing electronic circuits.
- Use electronic concepts in troubleshooting and designing electronic circuits.
- Employ teamwork and leadership best practice in a laboratory environment.
- Apply the principles of critical thinking and problem solving in the development of technical documents and engineering reports.

Transfer Opportunities
Articulation agreements are available for students to complete the Associate Degree and transfer to Clarion University. It is important that students consult with a counselor early in their program to develop a course plan most appropriate for the school to which they intend to transfer.
