ART 142 - Jewelry Making 1

Description
This is an introductory course exploring metal fabricating and casting. Basic metalsmithing techniques are employed in the making of finished pieces of jewelry and objects of art.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Recognize the complexity of materials, techniques, and skills required to successfully complete a piece of art.
- Demonstrate the basic techniques and use of equipment necessary manipulate metal.
- Create stylized, unique, individual pieces of art and jewelry.
