Description This course is an introduction to criminal investigation procedures including theory, techniques and problems. Case preparation, investigative techniques, questioning of witnesses and suspects, and collection and preservation of evidence are studied. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of the course, the student will:
- Appraise court rulings and their impact on investigative procedures.
- Describe the need for cooperation within and between law enforcement agencies in the area of investigation.
- Outline the impact of court decisions on investigative methods.
